Nicolas Kramar is a German-Swedish-Slowakian Artist based in Stockholm, Sweden. His background in graffiti, architecture and philosophy gives his art an unique language. Rich colors and fine gradients intersect with morphing shadows and optical interferences. Communicating on a fine-tuned verge between the simplicity of fundamental shapes and the complexity of their modes.

The raw energy of graffiti integrates not only as an aesthetic element of Nicolas Kramar’s work but also as a symbol of spontaneity and personal freedom. The use of the spray-can goes beyond mere technique and becomes a token of artistic rebellion and the power of expression.

The pursuit of archetypal shapes has a philosophical depth to it, where Ideas are not just abstract concepts, but rather living forces that influence the emotional resonance and meaning of Kramar’s artworks.

Structure and accuracy of an architectural approach serve as a formal framework. These spacial elements are not merely seen as physical entities, but as metaphors for concepts such as stability, symmetry and balance. This precise approach to spatial design becomes a key that opens up a fascinating world of precision.

For the artist himself, working with precision, especially in the space between the millimeter lines, has a meditative quality. It is an absolute focus in which everything around him falls silent. This accurate execution becomes a kind of spiritual practice, a meditation in creation. At the same time, this is transferred to the observer. The works radiate a calm, an “inward resting” that puts the viewer in a meditative state. This aesthetic meditation is a journey into archetypal forms – an intellectual and aesthetic invitation into the deep layers of form and meaning.

The synergy between these core elements creates a unique artistic language that is not only visually appealing, but also has the power to create a deep emotional and intellectual resonance.
